Throughout my entire life, I’ve been deeply immersed in the world of construction. My roots in the industry trace back to both sides of my family tree. On the McNair side, my grandparents owned a drilling company, igniting my fascination with formidable diesel engines, heavy machinery, and robust trucks hauling substantial loads. Meanwhile, my grandfather on my maternal side was a skilled union pipeline welder who passed down invaluable knowledge about engine maintenance, vehicle upkeep, and welding techniques. Together, they instilled in me a profound love for hands-on work and problem-solving.

In the early mornings, my mom would drop me off at my grandparents’ place, where my cousin would then take me to school. Those pre-dawn hours were spent loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials onto trucks and trailers, meticulously refueling everything, and mastering the art of driving both the equipment and those massive trucks around the yard. Summers were marked by rigorous labor in trenches, gradually evolving into my gaining proficiency in operating heavy machinery and maneuvering the large trucks and trailers with precision.

As the years rolled on, I’ve remained dedicated to the construction field, earning my stripes as a licensed journeyman electrician while holding a Class A Commercial Driver’s License in the Des Moines metro area. On my maternal side, my grandparents, another uncle, and a cousin all own separate drilling companies, fostering a close-knit network and cultivating strong relationships in the metro area.

Moreover, my business journey has been deeply influenced by my partnership. We’ve successfully owned a company together in the past, and his wealth of business experience and prior ventures further fuels our shared entrepreneurial spirit. It’s evident that I hail from a lineage of accomplished business owners and ambitious individuals.
